Allen Sheriff’s office seeks man’s identity

LIMA ‚?? The Allen County Sheriff‚??s Office is asking for help in identifying a man seen in surveillance video. Anyone with information can contact the sheriff‚??s office at 419-227-3535 or Lima Allen County Crime Stoppers at 419-229-7867.According to sheriff‚??s office investigator Brad Hoy, an unidentified white male stole a purse from a shopping cart while the owner attempted to open her car door in the Meijer parking lot on March 10. Hoy said a credit card from the victim‚??s purse has since been used at four different locations, where the subject was caught on video.The person being sought by police is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 150 to 170 pounds, with dark hair. Hoy said the person has also been seen in the video wearing glasses. At the time of the incidents, he reportedly was driving a tan, four-door, mid-size vehicle, possibly a Buick.
