LIMA — The prosecution finished presenting evidence Monday against the head of the Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority.

The defense called no witnesses, and jurors left for the day. Attorneys will deliver closing arguments to the jury first thing Tuesday morning. The jury then will retire for deliberations in the case against Anna Schnippel, who is charged with misdemeanor falsification.

Schnippel is accused of making a false statement to an official with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation on a claim filed by a Met Housing employee. The claim stemmed from a 2012 raid on the agency’s office after police received an anonymous tip someone inside the agency was destroying records.
