GOBA tour to begin in Kenton

Julie Van Winkle, director the 23rd Annual Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA), recently announced that the 2011 tour, June 11-25, will feature a route in greater central Ohio.



The expected 3,000 riders will start gathering for the tour on June 18, at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in Kenton. They will begin cycling on June 19, covering an average of 50 miles per day. Overnight stops will be in Marion on Sunday, Delaware on Tuesday, London on Wednesday and Thursday and Bellefontaine on Friday.



Those interested in receiving registration information and tour details can request a brochure by calling 614-273-0811 or visit www.goba.com. Brochures will be available in the spring at Ohio Bob Evans Restaurants and many bicycle shops. Application deadline ins May 18, 2011.
