Police calls for Friday, May 24

Police calls as of 9:40 a.m. Thursday, May 24 from the Allen County Sheriff's Office and Lima Police Department:

1269 Bellefontaine Ave., Lima On Thursday, a Cashland employee reported an unknown person cracked the window of the business with an unknown object. This is the second time the window has been cracked this week.

1707 N. West St., Lima On Thursday, a Don Johnson's Floral and Bridal employee reported a customer who gave a bad check for a $60 Valentine's Day order. The fee the business charges for returned checks is $30. The person has not paid the $90 balance, despite being contacted numerous times.

5300 block of North West Street, Lima On Thursday, a 40-year-old woman reported she was assaulted during an argument.

100 block of Watt Avenue, Lima On Wednesday, a 53-year-old man reported a man he knows has been calling and leaving threatening messages.

2400 Elida Road, Lima On Thursday, a JCPenney employee reported a woman stole clothing from the store.

500 block of East Chapman Road, Lima On Thursday, a 50-year-old man reported a car of young people threw a cup of pop at his car.
