LEIPSIC Three people were hospitalized and a fourth treated at the scene after a single-car accident just east of Leipsic.

According to officials from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer carrying four occupants was traveling west on state Route 613 at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday and failed to negotiate a curve.

The car flipped several times. A female passenger was ejected from the car and another was trapped inside the vehicle.

Three victims were taken to St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima and the other was treated at the scene by emergency medical workers.

Sheriff's officials were withholding the names of the four until identities could be confirmed.
