Small fire at Dana plant early Tuesday

BATH TOWNSHIP - Bath Township Fire Department responded to a small fire at Dana Holding Corp. early Tuesday.



Firefighters were dispatched at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday to the plant at 777 Bible Road. Light smoke was coming from the building through the doors at the ground level and from the roof.



Bath firefighters and Dana maintenance employees had the fire under control within 10 minutes. It was in a dust collector in the plant and did not go beyond that. There was no structural or equipment damage, the production schedule was not affected, and no one was injured.



A cause of the fire remained undetermined Tuesday.



A Dana Holding Corp. spokesperson could not be reached for comment.
