The Crestview High School senior English classes are hosting a walk-a-thon from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 27 at the Crestview High School Track.

The funds raised will be used to support both a scholarship honoring long-time teacher, coach and mentor Jon Amundson, who died in September, and the Sandra Dealey family. Dealey was killed in an accident on U.S. 30 in early January.

Many area businesses and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are partnering with the seniors on the project. The public is invited to join the seniors at the track to Walk-It-Forward to help others. A $5 donation at the gate is requested.
