FINDLAY - Troopers seized 989 Oxycodone pills, worth an estimated $18,000, during a traffic stop in Hancock County last week.

Troopers from the Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz for marked lanes and speed violations near milepost 157 on Interstate 75 in Hancock County at 12:45 a.m. April 5. Troopers observed marijuana in plain view. A probable cause search revealed a magnetic metal box with the Oxycodone pills inside.

Mahogany Dean, 37, and her passenger, Tiffany Lindsey, 47, both of Detroit, face charges of posession of a scheduled II substance, a first-degree felony, and possession of criminal tools, a fourth-degree felony. If convicted, each could face up to 21 1/2 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
