HARDIN COUNTY — A 20-year-old McGuffey man died Tuesday morning after his truck rolled, according to the Findlay post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Damien D. Howard, 20, of McGuffey, was driving his 2000 Chevrolet Blazer northbound on county Road 75, south of county Road 150, in Hardin County’s McDonald Township at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle drifted off the left side of the road when Howard overcorrected and lost control, according to the patrol.

The vehicle rolled off the left side of county Road 75 and struck a utility pole. Howard, who was not wearing a safety belt, was ejected from the vehicle.

The Hardin County Coroner Lawrence Kuk pronounced Howard dead at the scene.
