Police calls as of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 from the Allen County Sheriff's Office and Lima Police Department:
2600 St. John's Road, Lima — On Monday, an S&S Volvo employee reported a burglary at the business. They did not believe anything was missing, but the perpetrator attempted to pry open a vending machine.
500 block of Brower Road, Lima — On Monday, a 44-year-old man reported he paid more than $300 to what he now suspects is a fraudulent business, called U.S. Cash Land. The man said he was trying to raise his credit score to acquire a lower rate loan.
2450 Allentown Road, Lima — On Monday, a Walmart employee reported a 43-year-old woman attempted to steal more than $100 in men's jeans and shirts from the store.
850 Shawnee Road, Lima — On Friday, a 24-year-old man reported he left his debit card inside a Huntington Bank ATM. An unknown person bought more than $300 in merchandise from the Lima Mall.
6200 block of Lincoln Highway, Columbus Grove — On Monday, a 58-year-old man reported he paid someone to do work and the work was not completed.
