Woman injured after turning into car's path

FINDLAY - A Findlay woman required treatment at the hospital after she turned her vehicle into the path of another vehicle.


Whitney Garrison, 21, of Findlay, was driving west on U.S. 224 in a Saturn SC1 at 3:14 p.m. Thursday, according to a press release from Deputy Shane Heckman of the Hancock County Sheriff's Office. She attempted to turn south onto township Road 237. Her vehicle was struck by a Ford Focus driven by David Stevens, 60, of McCutchenville, who travelled eat on U.S. 224.


Garrison was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unknown injuries. She was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Stevens was uninjured, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
