FINDLAY - A woman was found dead at about 2:20 a.m. Sunday morning in the 300 block of Center Street in what Findlay police are calling an apparent hit-skip accident.

The woman has not been identified, but will be early this week, police said Sunday night.

According to police Sgt. Robert Ring, officers were called to the scene for a possible injury crash, and found a white female lying on the roadway with severe injuries. MedCorp emergency medical service personnel reported that the woman was dead at the scene, he said.

"This is still being investigated as a hit-skip accident. We have no indication of foul play," Ring said.

Assisting at the scene were members of the police department, Findlay Fire Department, MedCorp EMS, Hanco EMS and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
