COLUMBUS GROVE — Mr. and Mrs. Elmer J. Langhals, of Columbus Grove, celebrated 50 years of marriage Oct. 26, 2013. A blessing of vows, dinner and music was held yesterday at the VFW in Columbus Grove. The couple request that gifts be omitted.

Langhals and the former Kathleen Hoffman were married Oct. 26, 1963, in Glandorf, by Father Frederick.

They are the parents of two sons, Paul (Sandy) Langhals and Pete Langhals, both of Columbus Grove; and four daughters, Pam Snell, of Huron, Paula (Mike) Parish, of Arlington, Chris (Mike) Grigsby, of Vaughnsville and Cindy (Aaron) Stechschulte, of Columbus Grove. They have 14 grandchildren.

Langhals is retired from Ford Motor Company. His wife is a homemaker.
