Walter and Rosetta Durst will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on November 16, 2013 when they will be honored at an open house celebration.

It will be held at 1:30 pm at the Nazarene Fellowship Hall, 2503 Jefferson Ave., Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia.

Walter, of Letart, West Virginia and Rosetta, of Marengo, were married on November 23, 1963 at the Fargo Wesleyan Church in Marengo. Officiating were the late Rev. H. W. Durst and Rev. Andrew Wilson.

The couple began housekeeping in a home on Long Hollow Road in Letart where they still reside. They are the parents of two children, Loretta (Shane) Hawbaker and Dale (Lisa) Durst, of Letart. The honorees have two grandchildren.

Walter is retired from West Virginia Malleable Iron and Rosetta was employed with HPM. She also worked with Christian Day School in Letart and with Custodial Services with High Rise Senior Citizens Building in Point Pleasant.

They are members of Wesleyan Holiness Church in Point Pleasant.
