Police calls for Friday, July 18

Police calls as of 12:30 p.m. July 18 from Allen County Sheriff's Office and the Lima Police Department:

100 block of West North Street, Lima - On Thursday morning, sheriff's deputies found an individual in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

3479 North West Street, Lima - An employee at Midway Motor Sales reported on Tuesday that an individual signed a contract to pay for a 1997 Ford Taurus and then left the state without making any payments.

1000 block of North West Street, Lima - On Thursday morning, a 37-year-old man reported someone entered his unlocked 2003 Mercury Sable and stole prescription medicine, a CD player and 40 CDs.

940 Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima - A 23-year-old man and a 33-year-old man reported early Thursday morning they were assaulted by two men while working at Kooler's Bar.

Elm Street and Pine Street, Lima - On Thursday evening, a 10-year-old boy reported an individual stole his bike.

400 block of South Dana Avenue, Lima - On Thursday afternoon, a 34-year-old woman reported two teenage boys set the garage on fire. The woman's 9-year-old son saw the two other boys lighting brush on fire with a lighter.
