Armed men steal woman's car
Comments 0 | Recommend 0LIMA - Three men forced their way into a Lima woman's home early Friday morning and fled the scene in the woman's car.
Lima police were called to 1231 Latham Ave. shortly after 1 a.m. The resident at the house, Dashanna N. McClellan, 25, told authorities three unknown men forced their way into her home shortly after she arrived at home, Sgt. Charles Godfrey said.
At least one of the individuals had a gun, Godfrey said. McClellan was not hurt, he said.
After searching the home, the men fled in McClellan's 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. The suspects apparently did not go far. Godfrey said police located the car approximately 10 minutes later in the area of Oakland Parkway and North Woodlawn Avenue.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
