Boy hospitalized after being hit by car
Comments 0 | Recommend 0PERRY TOWNSHIP -- A Cridersville boy was hospitalized Wednesday when a car hit him as he tried to cross Greely Chapel Road.
A northbound 2004 Honda Civic, driven by Sarah Ewing, 17, of Lima, struck Troy Yoast, 8, of Cridersville, when he tried to cross Greely Chapel Road, north of Hume Road, from the east side at about 5:30 p.m., according to a spokesman from the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Emergency medical service workers from Perry Township took Yoast to Lima Memorial Health System, where a hospital spokeswoman said he was being treated late Wednesday.
