800 block of Delphos Avenue, Lima — A Delphos man and a Lima man, both age 23, drove their car through a carport next door to the Landing Strip bar, severely damaging it, along with a guardrail in the parking lot and their vehicle, while attempting to park at 10:55 p.m. Friday. Police found the men in the bar, where they had been refused service because of their state of drunkenness. Neither admitted to driving the car, which was impounded. They were cited for possession of marijuana after police found 4.3 grams of marijuana in the car. They were later released.

2400 block of Allentown Road, Lima — An employee of Walmart Supercenter reported at 6:15 p.m. Friday two Lima residents ages 28 and 33 were shoplifting. Police said the two were cited after they recovered a cellphone valued at $84.88.

1300 block of Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima — An employee of Dollar General reported at 4:35 p.m. Friday someone took Bic lighters valued at $2 from the store without paying for them.

600 block of West Elm Street, Lima — Police conducting a routine traffic stop at 10:37 p.m. Saturday cited a Lima man who admitted having two small bags of marijuana.

300 block of South Pierce Street, Lima — Police responding to a 911 hangup call found a residence door standing open at 10:27 p.m. Friday. The owner arrived moments later and said he'd locked up when he left. The interior had been ransacked. There was no sign of forced entry. The owner said he would draw up an inventory of any missing items.

1000 block of West Market Street, Lima — A Lima man said he and his wife were watching TV upstairs around 2:45 p.m. Saturday when he heard a noise downstairs. He dismissed it at first, thinking it was a pet, but later he investigated and discovered a framed Ohio State football poster had been taken from his kitchen near the unlocked rear door. The poster was valued at $90.

1200 block of Oakland Parkway, Lima — An 18-year-old Lima man reported at 7:18 p.m. Saturday he was in his backyard earlier Saturday afternoon when he saw a pickup truck with four men inside park in front of his apartment building. Moments later he saw one of the men inside his apartment through the kitchen window. Fearing for his safety, the man ran off. He returned later and said he found nothing missing inside his apartment.
