Lima Exchange Club awards 3 students

LIMA — The Exchange Club of Lima presented Accepting the Challenge of Excellence (A.C.E.) Award to three area students Monday during the club’s weekly meeting.
Recipients were Greg Tobe, of Perry High School, Kathy Wilmoth, of Apollo Career Center, and Whitney Dell, of Shawnee High School. Each received a plaque and $100. Tobe was selected as the $500 scholarship winner and will compete at the district level.
The award recognizes students who have made a dramatic change in attitude and performance sometime during high school. The students have often overcome physical, emotional or social obstacles.
