To the kind and generous gentleman who paid the lunch tab for my wife and me on March 14 at the east side Kewpee, I say “thank you.”
I want to also thank you for acknowledging and thanking me for my World War II naval service to our country. It is people such as you who makes veterans feel that the service they performed will always be remembered.
Hopefully someday, I will have the opportunity to know who you were. Until then, I sincerely thank you again for your thoughtfulness and generosity and may God bless you.
