Mark Figley claims the Obama administration openly supports the Muslim Brotherhood, in his Dec. 10 letter.

President Barack Obama has “taken out” more terrorists who are 100 percent Muslim in four years than George Bush did in eight.

This is open support? Figley obviously is getting his flawed information from right-wing websites mostly controlled by the tinfoil hat wearing crowd.

In a previous column he claimed this administration was soft on illegals in the country and turned a blind eye to people entering at our southern border.

Again, a blatant false premise as the Obama administration has deported more than all previous administrations.

Maybe Figley didn’t notice when George Bush was pictured holding hands with the Saudi Arabian king. Saudi Arabia trains and recruits for the brotherhood. Also Figley didn’t include Iraq in the countries that Coptic Christians have been ostracized.

What should we do? Egypt controls the Suez Canal where 60 percent or 70 percent of the world’s oil transfer through. We will always support whoever is in power there and pay them to keep it open. That is the world today. We may not like it, but it’s not going to change.
