On Nov. 5, a decision will be made to pass or fail the Perry school levy.
With the passing of the levy, the state will fund 52 percent of the total cost of a new elementary school building. A building that will advance our technology and give our pupils a more secure facility in which to learn.
My husband, Pau,l and I are both graduates of Perry High School. Three of our four children are also alumni along with many family members. We even have grandchildren attending Perry schools.
As a community, I hope you feel it is time to invest in our students future and give them the best opportunity possible. Please vote “yes” on Nov. 5 for the Perry school levy.
