Man pleads not guilty in fatal crash
LIMA -- A 25-year-old man accused of being under the influence when he was involved in a crash that killed a woman has pleaded not guilty to charges against him.
Dennis J. Key II, 25, of Lima, pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, both felonies. The charges cover different sections of the law one which accuses him of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and the other that accuses him of driving recklessly.
Key is charged in the death of 42-year-old Tammy S. Carter of Bluffton on April 4. Key was involved in a crash with Carter on state Route 81 at Stewart Road. Carter was a passenger in a car. Key was driving his vehicle, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.
