Ohio Supreme Court candidate to speak in Kenton

KENTON

Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Fanon A. Rucker will be the keynote speaker for the annual Hardin County Democratic Party Presidents Day lunch at noon Feb. 18 at the Kenton Moose Family Center, 801 W. Lima St., Kenton.

Rucker is a candidate for the Ohio Supreme Court. Former Gov. Ted Strickland appointed Rucker to his current post in 2007, and he was elected to the position later that year and again in 2011.

The sit-down dinner will begin at noon, and carry-out dinners are available at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students from Central and Executive Committee members or by calling Don Traxler at 419-234-8506. RSVP by Saturday.
