Four injured in double-rollover
Comments 0 | Recommend 0PUTNAM COUNTY -- Four people were injured in Putnam County Wednesday evening when two vehicles in a crash both rolled, troopers from the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.
Wanda Pittman, 52, of Columbus Grove, was eastbound on state Route 613, when, at about 7 p.m., she drove her 1996 Acura Integra through a stop sign and struck a 1995 Chevy Blazer driven by Miranda Boecker, 17, of Continental, Trooper Rob Gatchel said.
Both drivers were injured along with two passengers in Pittman's vehicle, Dianne Shelva, 43, and Jasmine Thomas, 11, of Columbus Grove.
All four people in the crash were taken to St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Gatchel said, except Shelva, who was taken to the Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center and was treated, then released.
Gatchel said Thomas appeared to have the worst injuries, with a broken collarbone. Information on the conditions of the others was not available late Wednesday.
Pittman was cited for running the stop sign.
