Cops raid Putnam County home

DELPHOS

A local drug task force raided a Putnam County home Thursday seizing drugs and other items.

Agents raided the home at 20799 Road 24T in Putnam County, just outside Delphos, after an undercover drug investigation by the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force. Officers found a 26-year-old man inside who was not arrested, said Delphos Police Chief Kyle Fittro, who has an officer on the task force.

Agents found a small amount of heroin and marijuana, pharmaceutical pills, drug paraphernalia including hypodermic syringes and cash, Fittro said.

Police expected to eventually charge the man at the home but were not releasing his name because he has not been arrested or charged. The investigation began after complaints of drug activity at the home, Fittro said.
