NEW BREMEN - Martyce Kimbrough scored 35 points, including a school record 9 3-pointers, as Lima Central Catholic moved to 5-0 on the season with a 88-44 victory over New Bremen on Saturday night.

Xavier Simpson had 13 points and Dantez Walton had 11 for the Thunderbirds. Nolan Fox had 12 points and Carson Manger had 10 for the host Cardinals.

Bath 44, Findlay 39

LIMA - Taren Sullivan had 13 points and Hayden Atkins and Andrew Renner had 10 each for the host Wildcats.

NEW KNOXVILLE - Andrew Arnett had 17 points and Shane Topp 11 for the host Rangers.

Ja’Quan Tucker had 15 points, Brennan Gaffer had 12 and Jaden O’Neal 11 for Shawnee.

ARLINTON - Taylor Zwiebel had 19 points to lead Temple Christian.

LIMA - Lexis Davis had 22 points and Alexis Young 16 for the host Commodores.

Bath Holiday Classic

The McDonald’s Holiday Classic will be held at Bath High School Dec. 27-28.

On the first night Minster will play Wadsworth at 6 p.m. and Bath will take on LCC at 7:30 p.m.

The consolation game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Dec. 28 with championship contest slated for 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Student Athletic Passes and employee passes are not accepted at this event. Senior Citizens Passes are accepted. There is no charge to the junior varsity portion of this event.


The Lima Central Catholic girls team won the St. Joseph Central Catholic Swim Meet on Saturday. LCC’s Megan Scheiwiller won the 50 freestyle and the 200 freestyle relay team of Brianna Braun, Emily Scheiwiller, Emily Janowski and Scheiwiller also came in first.

The LCC boys team finished fifth.
