Teen girls use MySpace to plan tussle
DELPHOS -- Two teenage girls are facing disorderly conduct charges in juvenile court after a fistfight that began over insults made on MySpace, police said.
Officers from the Delphos Police Department found the girls, ages 13 and 14, punching each other in the face as a large crowd looked on around 3 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Clay Street.
Police officials would not identify the girls.
Sgt. Kyle Fittro of the Delphos Police Department said one of the girls told police officials that after exchanging insults on MySpace, they used the social networking site to plan the after-school fight.
Neither was seriously injured.
The girls were released to family members after being arrested.
