Humane Society offers pet-food vouchers

The Humane Society of Allen County's animal-food voucher program has provided more than 57 vouchers a month to participants screened by the West Ohio Food Bank since it began in November.
An estimated 4,350 pounds of dog food and 2,137 pounds of cat food have been distributed each month. The society is asking for donations from local individuals and businesses to support the program.
Donations can be dropped off at the shelter, 3606 Elida Road, or mailed to PO Box 1666, Lima, OH, 45802. The shelter is open for adoptions from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays and noon to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays. Learn more at http://hsoac.org.
