Each general election, The Lima News provides this section profiling the candidates and issues. The Lima News sent questionnaires to every candidate in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, Putnam and Van Wert counties for this election section. Candidates had the opportunity to give biographical information and discuss major issues in their races. Candidates also had an option to submit a photograph. Only names and residences identify candidates who did not return a questionnaire. I am a staunch believer in the Bath community and all it has to offer families and am raising my five children in the Bath Local School District. Iíve been active in the Wildcat Den as a volunteer, Den Mother for Pack 82, Den #2, volunteer at various concession stand operations for Bath Sports Programs and a firm believer in giving back to the community that has given me so much.Major issues: I believe I am the candidate to bring Bath Township into the electronic age. We could save the township money by utilizing direct deposit and online bill-pay. I pledge to work with the current employees and Trustees to resolve ongoing conflicts regarding the timeliness of payroll. My advanced computer and bookkeeping skills will be an asset to Bath Township and will help ensure good accounting practices and monthly reports are accurate, up to date, and completed in a timely manner.
