LIMA - Voters in the Lima schools district approved a renewal levy in Tuesday's May election.

With all 44 precincts counted, 67.3 percent of voters approved a 10-year, 6.677 mill renewal levy.

The levy raises $2.3 million annually and maintains the school's funding for the next 10 years, treasurer Ryan Stechschulte said before the election. Voters approved the levy every year since its inception.
