Candidates: Hardin County Auditor

The Lima News sent questionnaires to every candidate in races in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, Putnam and Van Wert counties for this election section. Candidates had the opportunity to give biographical information and discuss major issues in their races. Candidates also had an option to submit a photograph. Only names and residences identify candidates who did not return a questionnaire yet. Relevant experience: Auditor since March 1995; chief deputy auditor for City of Kenton for 11-plus years; one term on Hardin Northern school board, including one year as board president

Education: Graduated from Hardin Northern High School; bachelorís degree in accounting from Findlay College

Years living in area: 49

Major issues: Major issues include the stateís next biennial budget and possible cuts in local government funding, personal property tax loss reimbursements and real estate rollbacks and how they will affect the countyís financial situation.
