Each general election, The Lima News provides this section profiling the candidates and issues. The Lima News sent questionnaires to every candidate in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, Putnam and Van Wert counties for this election section. Candidates had the opportunity to give biographical information and discuss major issues in their races. Candidates also had an option to submit a photograph. Only names and residences identify candidates who did not return a questionnaire. Moulton Township - Fiscal OfficerLarry W. Citizens appreciate that tax money is being used wisely by their elected officials and since townships are a statutory form of government and have limited means of raising money for basic services of road maintenance, fire protection, EMS, zoning and police protection the issue becomes magnified. Add the fact that our State of Ohio is greatly reducing local government fund distributions due to the state’s budget shortfall further emphasizes the need to be frugal.Melinda K.
