My primary goals are meeting set academic objectives and providing an appropriate atmosphere for students to excel in. Our students need to gain a well-balanced education including academics, extra-curricular activities and discipline. As a school board member I would like to have the opportunity to be involved in the decisions that directly influence these matters.I would be an ideal candidate because of my several years of management experience. As a pharmacy director at a local hospital I utilize available resources and staffing to provide high quality services to the community. Maintaining a budget, working with a board of directors, and serving as a technology specialist are part of my everyday job. These experiences have given me the tools to excel in a school board position. Along with my personal attributes of being hard-working, determined and rational, I am well prepared to meet the challenges of this position.
