Sixth grader wins New Knoxville Spelling Bee

NEW KNOXVILLE — Sixth-grader James Albers won the New Knoxville Spelling Bee on Dec. 12 for pupils from fourth through eighth grades.

Fifth-grader Jay Schroeder placed second, and fourth-grader William Jones placed third.

Albers will move on to participate in the regional spelling bee in Lima.
