Allen County deputies looking for failure to yield

LIMA — Beginning Monday, Allen County sheriff's deputies will be conducting an enforcement blitz against people who fail to yield.
Failing to yield violations resulted in 1,739 crashes last year and killed four people. Deputies will focus on intersections on Elida Road and rural intersections. The effort will run through the end of July.
A grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety will pay for overtime for deputies who work the enforcement effort.
