Students show off creative, tasty skills

The votes are in and the winners of the annual Gingerbread House Display have been announced.

With the display becoming a tradition in Oberlin, students experience of banking and creating sweet houses during their pastry and baking units at school, thanks to the Oberlin Endowment board.

All the students in teh foods-nutrition and wellness classes are winners.

They each designed, planned, baked, and decorated custom gingerbread houses.

The houses were on display from Dec. 15 to Jan. 20.

With an abundance of 205 votes cast, library patrons, high school students, and more voiced their opinion of who should get the top ranking.
