Celina woman charged for break-in

CELINA — A Celina woman has been charged for a break-in earlier this month at a Celina business, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said Saturday.

Mandi L. Gibbons, 31, of Celina, is being held in the Mercer County Detention Center on charges of breaking and entering as well as theft, both fifth-degree felonies. Gibbons reportedly admitted to stealing more than $1,000 in metal tent stakes from Reliable Rental, 6057 Franklin St., Celina, Grey said.

Gibbons reportedly admitted to the theft and disposal of the items at a local salvage yard, Grey said.

Gibbons is being held on a in lieu of a $5,000 bail.
