A now-vacant shopping plaza on Allentown Road has been purchased by a limited liability company at sheriff’s sale.

Lima Chester LLC bought the property at 2200 Allentown Road for $564,000. The 15-acre piece of property was previously home to Kmart and other smaller retailers.

Lima Chester has an address in Old Westbury, N.Y. The law firm filing incorporation papers for Lima Chester in 2010 has offices in Columbus and Cincinnati. The attorney who did the filing, Kenneth P. Kreider, is a partner with Keating Muething & Klekamp. Kreider helps clients with real estate acquisition and specializes in sustainable building practices. He has spoken about redevelopment of distressed real estate. He could not be reached for comment.

The Allentown Road Kmart closed in 2010. A Dollar General was the remaining business in the strip mall until it moved in 2012 to a new location on Cable Road.
