LIMA — The Dayton School of Medical Massage has moved its student massage clinic to Lima after years of operation in Elida.
The clinic, which celebrated its grand opening Thursday at its new location on 2362 Shawnee Road, was previously housed at Total Body Chiropractic in Elida. The decision to open a free-standing student clinic in Lima was due to the “rising demand for licensed massage therapists” and “rapidly increasing enrollments in our school,” according to a press release.
The newly remodeled facility encompasses more than 2,000 square feet and includes six treatment rooms. Students will provide 50-minute relaxation massages to the public for $35 each. Customers may also purchase four gift certificates for $105.
The clinic’s hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. To speak with the clinic director or a licensed massage therapist, call 567-940-8888.
