LIMA — Gas prices are trending downward in the Lima area this morning, according to prices recorded by GasBuddy.com.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded was $3.27 this morning, down 19.3 cents from last week’s average, down 23.9 cents from last month’s average and down 7.2 percent from last year’s average.
Lima has the 49th least expensive gas in the nation, according to the website. The city is seeing its lowest gas prices since February.
Prices are slightly higher in Auglaize and Putnam counties, with averages between $3.29 and $3.34 a gallon. Hardin County is seeing $3.24 to $3.29 a gallon, while Van Wert County stations are charging $3.34 to $3.39 a gallon.
The average price in Ohio is $3.364, while the national average is $3.509.
