Woman injured after crashing into building
Comments 0 | Recommend 0HANCOCK COUNTY -- A Carey woman was injured Monday morning after crashing her car into a building.
According to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, Betty S. Overbee, 73, was traveling west on state Route 568 around 10:50 a.m. when her 2000 Ford Taurus went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and came back on the road. The car crossed the centerline and went off the left side of the road striking a concrete block building east of state Route 330 in Biglick Township.
The building was previously used by the city of Findlay for water supply. The building is still owned by the city.
Overbee was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital. Her condition was unavailable Monday. She was cited for failure to control.
