FINDLAY — A Tiffin man was injured in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday in Liberty Township, just west of Findlay.

According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Todd Koelsch, 39, of Tiffin, was stopped on state Route 12 at county Road 88 waiting to turn left in a 2014 Nissan pickup truck facing west just before 1 p.m. Koelsch’s pickup was rear-ended while waiting on traffic by a 2004 GMC pickup truck driven by Austin Ream, 20, of Findlay.

After being struck, Koelsch’s vehicle preceded out into the intersection and was struck in the eastbound lane of traffic by Kelsea Ferris, 25, of Rawson, who was driving a 2004 Chevy sport utility vehicle.

Koelsch was taken by Hanco EMS to Blanchard Valley Hospital to be treated. His condition was unavailable late Wednesday. All three vehicles were removed from the scene by wrecker services. All three vehicles had deployed their air bags.

Also assisting at the scene was Liberty Township Fire Department, Dicks Towing, Eds Towing and Mac & Bobs Towing.
