McCOMB — A woman and two children were injured in a traffic accident Sunday afternoon.
The condition of the three people was still unknown after the Hancock County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle crash at 1:03 p.m. Sunday in Pleasant Township.
Police officials said Savannah Valencia, 26, of McComb was driving north on county Road 216 at about 1 p.m. when, just past county Road 203, she drover her 2001 Chevy Blazer off the east side of the roadway striking a sign post in a steep ditch. Valencia then attempted to regain control and overcorrected and went off of the west side of the roadway. Valencia's vehicle traveled into the ditch and into a field, where it rolled several times before coming to a rest.
Two juveniles, ages 5 and 7, were in the vehicle and were wearing seat belts. Valencia and the juveniles were taken by ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay for treatment of injuries.
The conditions of the three were unavailable late Sunday.
