Police calls for Wednesday, Nov. 6

Police calls as of 10:48 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 from the Lima Police Department:

700 block North Main Street, Lima — Police arrested a man and a woman at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday after they were dispatched to a report of people in vehicles behind a house. The pair was arrested on allegations of possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and other charges. Police took suspected cocaine, a cell phone and $2,000 in cash into evidence.

700 block South Metcalf Street, Lima — Police arrested a man at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday after they saw him walking in an alley. The man was known to have outstanding warrants. After taking the man into custody, they found marijuana in a blunt and a bag in his pocket.

2450 Allentown Road, Lima — Police took an 11-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy into custody at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart after a security officer found the two shoplifting video games and equipment.

Jameson and Wayne streets, Lima — Police arrested a man during a traffic stop. The man was arrested for driving under the influence and having marijuana.

800 block of North Union Street, Lima — Police arrested a 24-year-old man and 28-year-old man at 2:28 a.m. Tuesday after they responded to a report of prowlers at the house. The men were arrested on allegations of possession of cocaine.

St. Johns Avenue and Second Street, Lima — Police arrested a man who was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over in a traffic stop. The man had marijuana with him.
