• Aug. 7 at 2:44 p.m.: Officers investigated menacing complaints. No charges were filed.

• Aug. 9 at 9:02 a.m.: Credit cards were found in the Kelly’s Laundromat restroom and turned in to police.

• Aug. 10 at 5:27 p.m.: Officers investigated a tipped portable restroom at the Wellington Recreation Park.

• Aug. 16 at 3:40 a.m.: Jason McCune, 33, of Wellington, was charged with reckless operation and failure to control his vehicle after he reported sped 55 mph down a 25 mph road and crashed into a tree.

• Aug. 16 at 11:26 a.m.: Rodney Harrison, owner of Harrison Ford, told police that a man refused to return a truck to the dealership. Harrison said the man bought the vehicle in June with a contingency loan. When the loan was denied the man refused to return the truck saying he had a valid sales contract with the dealership and paid $461. No charges were filed but parties were advised that it was a civil matter.

• Aug. 16 at 7:26 a.m.: Dennis Larson, 42, of Elyria, was charged with driving with a suspended license.

• Aug. 17 at 1:51 p.m.: Officers investigated a car crash on East Herrick Avenue.

• Aug. 19 at 5:35 p.m.: Officers investigated a criminal damaging report at Weber Health Care Center. An employee reported a shed door was damaged and said she believed the culprits were three teens she saw on the property earlier that day. No charges were filed.

• Aug. 22 at 7:46 p.m.: Officers investigated a car crash on North Main Street.

• Aug. 23 at 7 p.m.: Officers investigated an assault at Weber Health Care Center. Witnesses reported a resident became agitated and started hitting a nurse in the arms and stomach. No charges were filed.

• Aug. 24 at 5 a.m.: Matthew Norris, 29, of Wellington, was charged with domestic violence.
