Police calls for Wednesday, June 4

Police calls as of 9:10 a.m. June 4 from Allen County Sheriff's Office and Lima Police Department:

North Washington Street, Lafayette - Someone damaged two vending machines.

1600 block of Reservoir Road., Bath Township - Someone broke into a garage and stole items Monday or Tuesday.

2200 block of Elida Road, Elida - A car was stolen Tuesday.

1200 block of Sunderland Road, Bluffton - A mailbox and post were damaged Tuesday.

Sandy Point Pike Run Cemetery, Elida - A man found chips in a gravestone.

10000 block of Shifferly Road, Bluffton - A man saw three people stealing copper and scrap metal from a home Tuesday.

200 block of East Edwards Avenue, Lima - A man reported that children hit his car with stones.

1000 block of North Main Street, Lima - Someone took a license plate from the back of a car.

900 block of Greenlawn Avenue, Lima - Someone broke into a home and took $40 in change.

1100 block of Franklin Street, Lima - A woman said a man she knew stole her chihuahua.

800 block of Holmes Avenue, Lima - A grill was stolen from the front porch of a home Tuesday.

600 block of West Elm Street, Lima - Police were called to break up a fight.

Corner of Allentown Road and University Boulevard, Lima - A 13-year-old was assaulted by other children on his way home from school.
