N.Y. man arrested on importuning charge

BOTKINS - A 23-year-old New York man was arrested Thursday after arriving in Botkins to meet a detective posing as a 14-year-old girl for sex, police said.
Joshua M. Flesh, of Rochester, N.Y., was arrested by Shelby County sheriff's deputies on a charge of importuning, a fifth-degree felony, just before 5 p.m.
Flesh is a student at Ohio State University in Columbus.
The Sheriff's Office said Flesh had solicited sex from the undercover officer several times in the past month on the Internet and by phone.
Additional charges may be pending.
