Mackenzie Hoover and Kevin Meyers were united in marriage on May 8, 2014, at Smathers Beach in beautiful Key West, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Tanya Hoover of North Ridgeville. The groom is the son of Randy and Karen Meyers of Amherst.
Rosalie Sullivan served as the matron of honor and the bridesmaids were Samantha Hall, Kelli Falbo, and Rebecca Sedar. John Falbo served as the best man, and the ushers were Sam Candelario, Mike Atkinson, and Rob Hall.
Flower girls were Samantha Falbo and Melody Meyers. The ring bearer was Anthony Falbo.
Steele drum music was performed during the wedding to set the island tone. Afterward, the bridal party and guests enjoyed a trolley ride throughout historic Key West and along Duvall Street to the site of the reception at the Pier House.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Avon Lake High School and a 2011 graduate of Lorain County Community College. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Amherst Steele High School and a 2011 graduate of LCCC.
Both are employed as registered nurses at the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic. The newlyweds reside in Amherst Township with their two daughters, Melody and Aliza.
