New group hopes to slow foreclosure crisis
Comments 0 | Recommend 0LIMA - Three area organizations hope they can help stem foreclosures in Allen County.
The Allen County Housing Consortium, Legal Aid of Western Ohio and Lima Allen Council on Community Affairs will forum a foreclosure prevention task force.
The organizations hope the group can "develop strategies to meet the needs of Lima/Allen County residents who are at risk of home foreclosure," according to a press release.
The organization will include realtors, lenders, non-profit organizations, public officials, attorneys and builders.
